I used the Hero Octane DTB1 for 3 months and recently after switching to TREK 3700 sold it to my colleague.
Specifications of Octane DTB1
Price - Rs. 5500/-
Frame - Aluminium
Wheels - 26"
Suspension - Full ( front and back both are simple spring suspensions)
Gears - Shimano 21 speed with grip shifters
The bike is a good value for the money. It is light weight. However, the gears do not shift quick enough. The gear ratios are not good for climbing.

I have given specifications of Hero Octane DTB1(blue and silver colour combo). DTB2 (red and silver combo) and Hero Octane NV(26T) (silver and black colour combo0 are other models available, however I found the Octane nv design not so good. i do not like the carrier thing sticking out from the back of this bike. DTB2 has really poor quality components. Go for DTB1 it is a good value for money. Costs 5500/- in goa.
